In looking around for summer camps for kids, a friend directed me to Anti-Oppression Camp. Oh yay! I want to go to social justice camp. Pretty please? I'll need it for creating the compound. Right?

Oh man--why didn't they have camps like that when I was a kid? We had parks and rec and journalism camp. I want to go! I'd also like to go to Cooking Camp, but the one at Zingermans is waaaaay too expensive. Patti :)
Since 2005, NASCO's Action Camp curriculum has equipped co-op leaders with tools...
I'm betting that it's not exactly a summer camp for kids... unless your kid is a leader of a co-op (or similar organization). Cooperative, horizontal, floor-level toy distribution and organization maybe, but I think that's only a co-op with a membership of two.

I am reminded of a southpark episode:

Matthew - bad link. :( got an episode/clip name?
No, Biscodo, this is not a summer camp for kids... though you can bring 'em along.
Matthew's link worked fine for me... but it is South Park Season 6: Museum of Tolerance to which he was linking.
